Luke 24:46-50

⁴⁶ and said to them, “Thus ^(A)it is written, ^(B)that the Christ should suffer and on the third day ^(C)rise from the dead, ⁴⁷ and that ^(D)repentance for^[a] the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed ^(E)in his name ^(F)to all nations, ^(G)beginning from Jerusalem. ^48 (H)You are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And behold, I am sending ^(I)the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you ^(J)are clothed with ^(K)power ^(L)from on high.”
