¹⁴ So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, ^(A)“Up! Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

⁹ And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but ^(A)thought he was seeing a vision.

²⁵ And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
