²⁵ He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

¹⁴ So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry^[a] his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!^(A)” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.^(B)

⁹ Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.^(A)
