32 (A)There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. 33 And (B)when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. 34 [a]Then Jesus said, “Father, (C)forgive them, for (D)they do not know what they do.”

And (E)they divided His garments and cast lots. 35 And (F)the people stood looking on. But even the (G)rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”

36 The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him (H)sour wine, 37 and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

38 (I)And an inscription also was [b]written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew:

THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

And parting his garments among them, they cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also scoffed at him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, offering him vinegar, 37 and saying, If thou art the King of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And there was also a superscription over him, This is the King of the Jews.
