³⁷ and said, ‘If you are the king of the Jews,^(A) save yourself! ’

³⁸ An inscription was above him:^[a] This Is the King of the Jews.

³⁹ Then^(B) one of the criminals hanging there began to yell insults at^[b] him: ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us! ’
