Luke 23:23-25

23 But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed. 24 So Pilate decided to grant their demand. 25 He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.

23 But they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And the voices of these men [a]and of the chief priests prevailed. 24 So (A)Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested. 25 (B)And he released [b]to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
