22 (A)Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the (B)Passover, was drawing near. 2 And the chief priests and the scribes (C)were seeking how they might put Him to death; for they were afraid of the people.
3 (D)And (E)Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, who [a]belonged to the number of the twelve. 4 And he went away and discussed with the chief priests and (F)officers how he might betray Him to them. 5 And they were glad and agreed to give him money. 6 So he consented, and began seeking a good opportunity to betray Him to them [b]apart from the crowd.

22 The Festival of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching. 2 The chief priests and the experts in the law were trying to find some way to put Jesus to death, because they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve. 4 He went away and spoke with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard about how he could betray Jesus to them. 5 They were glad and agreed to give him money. 6 He promised to do it and was looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus to them away from the crowd.
