Jesus Faces the Sanhedrin^(A)

^66 (B)As soon as it was day, ^(C)the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying,

Jesus Faces Pilate^(A)

15 Immediately, ^(B)in the morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council; and they bound Jesus, led Him away, and ^(C)delivered Him to Pilate.

Jesus Handed Over to Pontius Pilate^(A)

27 When morning came, ^(B)all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put Him to death.

⁵ as also the high priest bears me witness, and ^(A)all the council of the elders, ^(B)from whom I also received letters to the brethren, and went to Damascus ^(C)to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished.

²⁵ who ^[a]by the mouth of Your servant David have said:

²⁷ “For ^(B)truly against ^(C)Your holy Servant Jesus, ^(D)whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together ^28 (E)to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

²² But I say to you that ^(A)whoever is angry with his brother ^[a]without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ^(B)‘Raca!’^[b] shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ^[c]‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of ^[d]hell fire.

In Pilate’s Court^(A)

^28 (B)Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas to the Praetorium, and it was early morning. ^(C)But they themselves did not go into the ^[a]Praetorium, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.
