10 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests to arrange to betray Jesus to them.11 They were delighted when they heard why he had come, and they promised to give him money. So he began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus.
26 Jesus responded, “It is the one to whom I give the bread I dip in the bowl.” And when he had dipped it, he gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot.27 When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.”
14 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests15 and asked, “How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you?” And they gave him thirty pieces of silver.16 From that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus.
12 It is not an enemy who taunts me— I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me— I could have hidden from them. 13 Instead, it is you—my equal, my companion and close friend. 14 What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God.
