¹⁸ For I will not drink wine again until the Kingdom of God has come.”

²⁹ Mark my words—I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”

¹⁶ For I tell you now that I won’t eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”

²⁵ I tell you the truth, I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new in the Kingdom of God.”

Invitation to the Lord’s Salvation

¹³ For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,

¹⁸ Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, ¹⁹ singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.

³⁰ But he was a prophet, and he knew God had promised with an oath that one of David’s own descendants would sit on his throne. ³¹ David was looking into the future and speaking of the Messiah’s resurrection. He was saying that God would not leave him among the dead or allow his body to rot in the grave.

³² “God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this. ³³ Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today. ³⁴ For David himself never ascended into heaven, yet he said,

³⁶ “So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!”

³¹ In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.

²⁷ I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God.”
