¹⁷ Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves;

^19 (A)And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My ^(B)body which is given for you; ^(C)do this in remembrance of Me.”

⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; ⁵ for it is ^[a]sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

⁶ He who ^(A)observes the day, observes it to the Lord; ^[a]and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for ^(B)he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

¹⁶ Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He ^(A)blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

⁷ Nor shall men break bread in mourning for them, to comfort them for the dead; nor shall men give them the cup of consolation to ^(A)drink for their father or their mother.

^10 (A)When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you.

¹³ As soon as you come into the city, you will surely find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, because he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. Now therefore, go up, for about this time you will find him.”
