    Although you were angry with me,

³ With joy you will draw water^(J)
    from the wells^(K) of salvation.

⁸     he will swallow up death^(A) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(B)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(C)
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.^(D)

“Surely this is our God;^(F)
    we trusted^(G) in him, and he saved^(H) us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
    let us rejoice^(I) and be glad in his salvation.”^(J)

⁵ make music to the Lord with the harp,^(A)
    with the harp and the sound of singing,^(B)
6 with trumpets^(C) and the blast of the ram’s horn^(D)—
    shout for joy^(E) before the Lord, the King.^(F)

⁷ Let the sea^(G) resound, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it.^(H)
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,^(I)
    let the mountains^(J) sing together for joy;
⁹ let them sing before the Lord,
    for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
    and the peoples with equity.^(K)
