When Christ Returns

²⁵ “And there will be ^[a]signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, ²⁶ men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the ^[b]world; for the powers of ^[c]the heavens will be shaken. ^27 (A)And then they will see ^(B)the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. ²⁸ But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because ^(C)your redemption is drawing near.”

^8 (A)You too be patient; ^(B)strengthen your hearts, for ^(C)the coming of the Lord is ^(D)at hand. ^9 (E)Do not groan, ^(F)brothers, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged. Behold, ^(G)the Judge is standing ^[a](H)right at the ^[b]door.
