⁴² Now David himself said in the Book of Psalms:

Announcement of the Messiah’s Reign^(A)

A Psalm of David.

³⁴ “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

¹³ But to which of the angels has He ever said:

³⁶ For David himself said ^(A)by the Holy Spirit:

³⁷ Therefore David himself calls Him ‘Lord’; how is He then his ^(C)Son?”

And the common people heard Him gladly.

²⁵ For He must reign ^(A)till He has put all enemies under His feet.
