37 (A)Naye nti abafu bazuukizibwa, ne Musa yannyonnyola bye yalaba ku kisaka, bwe yayita Mukama Katonda wa Ibulayimu, Katonda wa Isaaka, era Katonda wa Yakobo. 38 Kino kitegeeza nti ssi Katonda wa bafu wabula Katonda wa balamu, kubanga bonna balamu gy’ali.” 39 Abamu ku bannyonnyozi b’amateeka ne bagamba nti, “Omuyigiriza, ozzeemu bulungi!”

37 But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’[a](A) 38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”
39 Some of the teachers of the law responded, “Well said, teacher!”
