³⁵ But in the age to come, those worthy of being raised from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage.

⁵ And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.

² Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace. ³ Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.

²⁹ and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment.

³² Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.

¹⁵ I have the same hope in God that these men have, that he will raise both the righteous and the unrighteous.

³⁶ Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.”
