³ But He answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, and answer Me:

⁶ Let your speech always be ^(A)with grace, ^(B)seasoned with salt, ^(C)that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

⁶⁸ And if I ^[a]also ask you, you will by no means answer ^[b]Me or let Me go.

^2 (A)“Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”

³ He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?
