⁶⁸ “Blessed^(A) is the Lord God of Israel,
For ^(B)He has visited and redeemed His people,

^(A)“My soul ^[a]magnifies the Lord,
⁴⁷ And my spirit has ^(B)rejoiced in ^(C)God my Savior.
⁴⁸ For ^(D)He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
For behold, henceforth ^(E)all generations will call me blessed.
⁴⁹ For He who is mighty ^(F)has done great things for me,
And ^(G)holy is His name.
⁵⁰ And ^(H)His mercy is on those who fear Him
From generation to generation.
^51 (I)He has shown strength with His arm;
^(J)He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
^52 (K)He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
And exalted the lowly.
⁵³ He has ^(L)filled the hungry with good things,
And the rich He has sent away empty.
⁵⁴ He has helped His ^(M)servant Israel,
^(N)In remembrance of His mercy,
^55 (O)As He spoke to our ^(P)fathers,
To Abraham and to his ^(Q)seed forever.”

²⁹ “Lord, ^(A)now You are letting Your servant depart in peace,
According to Your word;
³⁰ For my eyes ^(B)have seen Your salvation
³¹ Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
^32 (C)A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles,
And the glory of Your people Israel.”
