33 [a]And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the (A)fall and rising of many in Israel, and for (B)a sign which will be spoken against 35 (yes, (C)a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

33 Abambo ndi amayi a Mwanayo anadabwa chifukwa cha zimene zinanenedwa za Iye. 34 Kenaka Simeoni anawadalitsa ndipo anati kwa Mariya amayi ake: “Mwana uyu wakonzedwa kukhala kugwa ndi kudzuka kwa ambiri mu Israeli, ndi kukhala chizindikiro chimene adzayankhula motsutsana nacho, 35 kotero kuti malingaliro a mitima ya ambiri adzawululidwa. Ndipo lupanga lidzabaya moyo wakonso.”
