²¹ And ^(A)at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, ^(B)he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

³ And on the ^(A)eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

⁴ But ^(A)when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, ^(B)born ^(C)of woman, born ^(D)under the law, ^5 (E)to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive ^(F)adoption as sons.

⁵⁹ And ^(A)on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child. And they would have called him Zechariah after his father,

³¹ And behold, ^(A)you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and ^(B)you shall call his name Jesus.

¹² He who is ^(A)eight days old among you shall be circumcised. Every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house or ^(B)bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring,

⁸ And being found in human form, he humbled himself by ^(A)becoming obedient to the point of death, ^(B)even death on a cross.

¹⁵ But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.

²⁵ but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And ^(A)he called his name Jesus.

²¹ She will bear a son, and ^(A)you shall call his name Jesus, ^(B)for he will save his people from their sins.”
