²⁰ The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told them.^(A)

¹⁸ When they heard this, they were silenced. And they praised God, saying, “Then God has given even to the gentiles the repentance that leads to life.”^(A)

⁴⁶ Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home^[a] and ate their food with glad and generous^[b] hearts,^{(A) 47} praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.^(B)

³⁷ Now as he was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, ³⁸ saying,

⁴³ Immediately he regained his sight and followed him, glorifying God, and all the people, when they saw it, praised God.^(A)

⁸ When the crowds saw it, they were filled with awe, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to human beings.^(A)
