Luke 2:11-14

¹¹Today in the city of David a Savior^(A) was born for you, who is the Messiah,^(B) the Lord.^(C) ¹²This will be the sign for you:^(D) You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.”

¹³Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host^[a] with the angel, praising God and saying:

¹⁴Glory to God in the highest heaven,^(E)
and peace on earth^(F) to people he favors!^[b]^[c]^(G)
