Jesus Cleanses the Temple(A)
45 (B)Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who [a]bought and sold in it, 46 saying to them, “It is written, (C)‘My house [b]is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a (D)‘den of thieves.’ ”
47 And He (E)was teaching daily in the temple. But (F)the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him, 48 and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to (G)hear Him.

47 And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him: 48 and they could not find what they might do; for the people all hung upon him, listening.
