⁸Zaccheus stopped and said to ^(A)the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I ^[a]will give to the poor, and if I have ^(B)defrauded anyone of anything, I ^[b]will give back ^(C)four times as much.” ⁹And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is ^(D)a son of Abraham. ¹⁰For ^(E)the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

⁸But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord,^(A) “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything,^(B) I will pay back four times the amount.”^(C)

⁹Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.^(D) ¹⁰For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”^(E)
