⁶ So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him.

²⁹ Then Levi gave a great banquet for him in his house, and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others reclining at the table with them.^(A)

³⁴ He brought them up into the house and set food before them, and he and his entire household rejoiced that he had become a believer in God.^(A)

¹⁵ When she and her household were baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come and stay at my home.” And she prevailed upon us.^(A)

¹⁵ But when the one^[a] who had set me apart before I was born and called me through his grace was pleased^{(A) 16} to reveal his Son to me,^[b] so that I might proclaim him among the gentiles, I did not confer with any human,^(B)

⁴¹ So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.

¹⁶ So they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the child lying in the manger.

⁶ And Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah and said, “Make ready quickly three measures^[a] of choice flour, knead it, and make cakes.” ⁷ Abraham ran to the herd and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to the servant, who hastened to prepare it.
