¹⁷ And he said to him, ^(A)‘Well done, good servant; because you were ^(B)faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

^10 (A)He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

²¹ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were ^(A)faithful over a few things, ^(B)I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into ^(C)the joy of your lord.’

²⁶ And he who overcomes, and keeps ^(A)My works until the end, ^(B)to him I will give power over the nations—

as I also have received from My Father; ²⁸ and I will give him ^(D)the morning star.

²⁹ “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

⁷ that ^(A)the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though ^(B)it is tested by fire, ^(C)may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

^5 (A)Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to ^(B)light the hidden things of darkness and ^(C)reveal the ^[a]counsels of the hearts. ^(D)Then each one’s praise will come from God.

³⁰ Therefore the Lord God of Israel says: ^(A)‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord says: ^(B)‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and ^(C)those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

⁴ So Joseph ^(A)found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him ^(B)overseer of his house, and all that he had he put ^[a]under his authority.

⁴ and when ^(A)the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive ^(B)the crown of glory that does not fade away.
