⁴³ Immediately he regained his sight and followed him, glorifying God, and all the people, when they saw it, praised God.^(A)

¹⁰ when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at on that day among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. ¹¹ To this end we always pray for you, asking that our God will make you worthy of his call and will fulfill by his power every good resolve and work of faith, ¹² so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.^(A)

²⁴ And they glorified God because of me.

¹⁸ to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’^(A)

¹⁸ When they heard this, they were silenced. And they praised God, saying, “Then God has given even to the gentiles the repentance that leads to life.”^(A)

²¹ After threatening them again, they let them go, finding no way to punish them because of the people, for all of them praised God for what had happened.^(A)

³⁹ Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, so that those who do not see may see and those who do see may become blind.”^{(A) 40} Some of the Pharisees who were with him heard this and said to him, “Surely we are not blind, are we?”^(B)

⁵ As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”^{(A) 6} When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made mud with the saliva and spread the mud on the man’s eyes,^{(B) 7} saying to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). Then he went and washed and came back able to see.^(C)

¹⁵ Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.^{(A) 16} He prostrated himself at Jesus’s^[a] feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan.^{(B) 17} Then Jesus asked, “Were not ten made clean? So where are the other nine? ¹⁸ Did none of them return to give glory to God except this foreigner?”
