³⁶ Hearing a crowd passing by, he enquired what was happening. ³⁷ ‘Jesus of Nazareth^(A) is passing by,’ they told him.

³⁸ So he called out,^(B) ‘Jesus, Son of David,^(C) have mercy^(D) on me! ’
