Jesus Heals a Blind Beggar

³⁵^(A)As he drew near to Jericho, ^(B)a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. ³⁶And hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what this meant. ³⁷They told him, ^(C)“Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” ³⁸And he cried out, “Jesus, ^(D)Son of David, have mercy on me!” ³⁹And those who were in front ^(E)rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” ⁴⁰And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, ⁴¹^(F)“What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” ⁴²And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; ^(G)your faith has ^(H)made you well.” ⁴³And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, ^(I)glorifying God. And ^(J)all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

Jesus Cleanses a Leper

8 When he came down from the mountain, ^(A)great crowds followed him. ²^(B)And behold, a leper^[a] came to him and ^(C)knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” ³And Jesus^[b] stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. ⁴And Jesus said to him, ^(D)“See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, ^(E)show yourself to the priest and ^(F)offer the gift that Moses commanded, ^(G)for a proof to them.”

Jesus Cleanses Ten Lepers

¹¹^(A)On the way to Jerusalem ^(B)he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. ¹²And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers,^[a] ^(C)who stood at a distance ¹³and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” ¹⁴When he saw them he said to them, “Go and ^(D)show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. ¹⁵Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, ^(E)praising God with a loud voice; ¹⁶and ^(F)he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was ^(G)a Samaritan. ¹⁷Then Jesus answered, “Were not ^(H)ten cleansed? Where are the nine? ¹⁸Was no one found to return and ^(I)give praise to God except this ^(J)foreigner?” ¹⁹And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; ^(K)your faith has ^(L)made you well.”^[b]
