²⁹ And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, ^(A)there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers^[a] or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,

²⁹ Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, ^(A)there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and ^(B)for the gospel, ³⁰ who will not receive a hundredfold ^(C)now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, ^(D)with persecutions, and in ^(E)the age to come eternal life. ³¹ But ^(F)many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

^26 (A)“If anyone comes to me and ^(B)does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, ^(C)yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. ^27 (D)Whoever does not ^(E)bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. ²⁸ For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not ^(F)first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?

^37 (A)Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. ³⁸ And ^(B)whoever does not take his cross and ^(C)follow me is not worthy of me. ^39 (D)Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

²⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world,^{[a] (A)}when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me ^(B)will also sit on twelve thrones, ^(C)judging the twelve tribes of Israel. ^29 (D)And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold^[b] and will ^(E)inherit eternal life. ³⁰ But ^(F)many who are ^(G)first will be last, and the last first.
