Sin, Faith, Duty
17 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble(A) are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.(B) 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones(C) to stumble.(D) 3 So watch yourselves.
“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them;(E) and if they repent, forgive them.(F) 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”(G)
5 The apostles(H) said to the Lord,(I) “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,(J) you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.(K)
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me(L) while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”(M)
Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem,(N) Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.(O) 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b](P) met him. They stood at a distance(Q) 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master,(R) have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”(S) And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God(T) in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.(U)
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”(V)
The Coming of the Kingdom of God(W)
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,(X) Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’(Y) because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”[c]
22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man,(Z) but you will not see it.(AA) 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.(AB) 24 For the Son of Man in his day[d] will be like the lightning,(AC) which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. 25 But first he must suffer many things(AD) and be rejected(AE) by this generation.(AF)
26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah,(AG) so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot.(AH) People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.(AI) 31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.(AJ) 32 Remember Lot’s wife!(AK) 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.(AL) 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”(AM) [36] [e]
37 “Where, Lord?” they asked.
He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”(AN)

17 耶穌教導門徒說：「引人犯罪的事是免不了的，但引人犯罪的人有禍了。 2 誰使一個卑微的弟兄失足犯罪，他的下場比把大磨石拴在他脖子上扔到海裡還要慘。 3 你們要小心謹慎！你的弟兄若犯了罪，要責備他。他若悔改，要饒恕他。 4 就算他一天得罪你七次，每次都對你說，『我悔改』，你都要饒恕他。」
5 使徒對主說：「請你加添我們的信心。」
6 主說：「如果你們的信心像一粒芥菜種那麼大，便可對這棵桑樹說，『連根拔起，栽在大海裡！』它必服從你們。
7 「你們誰會對種田或放羊回來的奴僕說，『請趕快坐下來吃飯』？ 8 不都是吩咐他『給我準備晚飯，束上腰帶伺候我用餐，等我吃完，你才可以吃』嗎？ 9 奴僕照著吩咐去做，主人會謝他嗎？ 10 同樣，你們照著吩咐把事情辦妥後，也該這樣說，『我們是無用的奴僕，所做的不過是分內的事。』」
十個痲瘋病人
11 耶穌繼續前往耶路撒冷，途經撒瑪利亞和加利利的交界處。 12 祂進入一個村莊時，十個痲瘋病人迎面而來。他們遠遠地站著， 13 高聲呼喊道：「耶穌，老師啊，求你可憐我們吧！」
14 耶穌看見他們，就說：「去讓祭司察看你們的身體。」
他們去的時候，就潔淨了。 15 其中一個發現自己痊癒了，就跑回來，高聲讚美上帝， 16 又俯伏在耶穌的腳前連連稱謝。這人是撒瑪利亞人。
17 耶穌說：「被醫好的不是有十個人嗎？其他九個呢？ 18 回來讚美稱頌上帝的只有這個外族人嗎？」 19 於是祂對那人說：「起來回去吧！你的信心救了你。」
上帝國的降臨
20 法利賽人問耶穌：「上帝的國什麼時候降臨？」
耶穌回答說：「上帝國的降臨並沒有看得見的徵兆。 21 所以沒有人能說，『上帝的國在這裡』，或說，『在那裡』，因為上帝的國就在你們心裡[a]。」
22 祂又對門徒說：「時候將到，你們將渴望見到人子降臨的日子，可是你們卻見不到。 23 有人將對你們說，『看啊，祂在這裡！』或說，『看啊，祂在那裡！』你們不要出去，也不要追隨他們。 24 因為人子降臨的時候必如劃過長空的閃電，從天這邊一直照亮到天那邊。 25 但祂必須先受苦，被這個世代棄絕。
26 「人子降臨時的情形將像挪亞的時代， 27 人們吃喝嫁娶，一直到挪亞進入方舟那天，洪水來了，毀滅了他們； 28 又像羅得的時代，人們吃喝、做買賣、耕地、蓋房。 29 在羅得離開所多瑪那天，烈火和硫磺從天而降，把他們全毀滅了。
30 「人子顯現之日的情形也是如此。 31 那天，在自己屋頂上的，不要下來收拾行李；在田裡工作的，也不要回家。 32 你們要記住羅得妻子的事。 33 想保全生命的，必喪失生命；喪失生命的，必保全生命。 34 我告訴你們，那天晚上，兩個人睡在一張床上，一個將被接去，一個將被撇下； 35 兩個女人一起推磨，一個將被接去，一個將被撇下； 36 兩個人在田間，一個將被接去，一個將被撇下。[b]」
37 門徒問：「主啊，在哪裡有這事呢？」
耶穌回答說：「屍體在哪裡，禿鷹就會聚集在哪裡。」

Jesus Warns of Offenses(A)
17 Then He said to the disciples, (B)“It is impossible that no [a]offenses should come, but (C)woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should [b]offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves. (D)If your brother sins [c]against you, (E)rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns [d]to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
Faith and Duty(F)
5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
6 (G)So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. 7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself (H)and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded [e]him? I think not. 10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are (I)unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’ ”
Ten Lepers Cleansed
11 Now it happened (J)as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, (K)who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, (L)“Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice (M)glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a (N)Samaritan.
17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 (O)And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”
The Coming of the Kingdom(P)
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 (Q)nor will they say, [f]‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, (R)the kingdom of God is [g]within you.”
22 Then He said to the disciples, (S)“The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 (T)And they will say to you, [h]‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them. 24 (U)For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. 25 (V)But first He must suffer many things and be (W)rejected by this generation. 26 (X)And as it (Y)was in the (Z)days of (AA)Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the (AB)day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and (AC)destroyed them all. 28 (AD)Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on (AE)the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man (AF)is revealed.

Anstöße zur Sünde. Vergebung. Die Kraft des Glaubens
17 Er sprach aber zu den Jüngern: Es ist unvermeidlich, dass Anstöße [zur Sünde] kommen; wehe aber dem, durch welchen sie kommen!
2 Es wäre für ihn besser, wenn ein großer Mühlstein um seinen Hals gelegt und er ins Meer geworfen würde, als dass er einem dieser Kleinen einen Anstoß [zur Sünde] gibt.
3 Habt acht auf euch selbst! Wenn aber dein Bruder gegen dich sündigt, so weise ihn zurecht; und wenn es ihn reut[a], so vergib ihm.
4 Und wenn er siebenmal am Tag gegen dich sündigte und siebenmal am Tag wieder zu dir käme und spräche: Es reut mich!, so sollst du ihm vergeben.
5 Und die Apostel sprachen zum Herrn: Mehre uns den Glauben!
6 Der Herr aber sprach: Wenn ihr Glauben hättet wie ein Senfkorn, so würdet ihr zu diesem Maulbeerbaum sagen: Entwurzle dich und verpflanze dich ins Meer!, und er würde euch gehorchen.
Von der Pflichterfüllung im Dienst
7 Wer aber von euch wird zu seinem Knecht, der pflügt oder weidet, wenn er vom Feld heimkommt, sogleich sagen: Komm her und setze dich zu Tisch?
8 Wird er nicht vielmehr zu ihm sagen: Bereite mir das Abendbrot, schürze dich und diene mir, bis ich gegessen und getrunken habe, und danach sollst du essen und trinken?
9 Dankt er wohl jenem Knecht, dass er getan hat, was ihm befohlen war? Ich meine nicht!
10 So sollt auch ihr, wenn ihr alles getan habt, was euch befohlen war, sprechen: Wir sind unnütze Knechte; wir haben getan, was wir zu tun schuldig waren!
Die Heilung der zehn Aussätzigen
11 Und es geschah, als er nach Jerusalem reiste, dass er durch das Grenzgebiet zwischen Samaria und Galiläa zog.
12 Und bei seiner Ankunft in einem Dorf begegneten ihm zehn aussätzige Männer, die von ferne stehen blieben.
13 Und sie erhoben ihre Stimme und sprachen: Jesus, Meister, erbarme dich über uns!
14 Und als er sie sah, sprach er zu ihnen: Geht hin und zeigt euch den Priestern! Und es geschah, während sie hingingen, wurden sie rein.
15 Einer aber von ihnen kehrte wieder um, als er sah, dass er geheilt worden war, und pries Gott mit lauter Stimme,
16 warf sich auf sein Angesicht zu [Jesu] Füßen und dankte ihm; und das war ein Samariter.
17 Da antwortete Jesus und sprach: Sind nicht zehn rein geworden? Wo sind aber die neun?
18 Hat sich sonst keiner gefunden, der umgekehrt wäre, um Gott die Ehre zu geben, als nur dieser Fremdling?
19 Und er sprach zu ihm: Steh auf und geh hin; dein Glaube hat dich gerettet!
Das Reich Gottes und die Wiederkunft des Menschensohnes
20 Als er aber von den Pharisäern gefragt wurde, wann das Reich Gottes komme, antwortete er ihnen und sprach: Das Reich Gottes kommt nicht so, dass man es beobachten könnte.
21 Man wird nicht sagen: Siehe hier!, oder: Siehe dort! Denn siehe, das Reich Gottes ist mitten unter euch.[b]
22 Er sprach aber zu den Jüngern: Es werden Tage kommen, da ihr begehren werdet, einen einzigen der Tage des Menschensohnes zu sehen, und ihr werdet ihn nicht sehen.
23 Und sie werden zu euch sagen: Siehe hier!, oder: Siehe dort! Geht nicht hin und lauft ihnen nicht nach!
24 Denn gleichwie der Blitz, der in einer Himmelsgegend erstrahlt, bis zur anderen leuchtet, so wird auch der Sohn des Menschen sein an seinem Tag.
25 Zuvor aber muss er viel leiden und verworfen werden von diesem Geschlecht.
26 Und wie es in den Tagen Noahs zuging, so wird es auch sein in den Tagen des Menschensohnes:
27 Sie aßen, sie tranken, sie heirateten und ließen sich heiraten bis zu dem Tag, als Noah in die Arche ging; und die Sintflut kam und vernichtete alle.
28 Ebenso ging es auch in den Tagen Lots zu: Sie aßen, sie tranken, sie kauften und verkauften, sie pflanzten und bauten;
29 an dem Tag aber, als Lot aus Sodom wegging, regnete es Feuer und Schwefel vom Himmel und vertilgte alle.
30 Gerade so wird es sein an dem Tag, da der Sohn des Menschen geoffenbart wird.
31 Wer an jenem Tag auf dem Dach ist und sein Gerät im Haus hat, der steige nicht hinab, um dasselbe zu holen; ebenso, wer auf dem Feld ist, der kehre nicht wieder zurück.
32 Gedenkt an Lots Frau!
33 Wer sein Leben[c] zu retten sucht, der wird es verlieren, und wer es verliert, der wird es erhalten.
34 Ich sage euch: In dieser Nacht werden zwei in einem Bett sein; der eine wird genommen und der andere zurückgelassen werden.
35 Zwei werden miteinander mahlen; die eine wird genommen, und die andere wird zurückgelassen werden.
36 Zwei werden auf dem Feld sein; der eine wird genommen und der andere zurückgelassen werden.
37 Und sie antworteten und sprachen zu ihm: Wo, Herr? Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wo der Leichnam ist, da sammeln sich die Geier.
