¹² Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, ^(A)who stood afar off.

⁴⁵ “Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head ^(A)bare; and he shall ^(B)cover his mustache, and cry, ^(C)‘Unclean! Unclean!’ ⁴⁶ He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall ^[a]dwell alone; his dwelling shall be ^(D)outside the camp.

Jesus Cleanses a Leper^(A)

^12 (B)And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of ^(C)leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and ^[a]implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

¹³ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’

²⁰ And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there, on his forehead, he was leprous; so they thrust him out of that place. Indeed he also ^(A)hurried to get out, because the Lord had struck him.

^21 (B)King Uzziah was a leper until the day of his death. He dwelt in an ^(C)isolated house, because he was a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the Lord. Then Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.

The Syrians Flee

³ Now there were four leprous men ^(A)at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die?

²⁷ Therefore the leprosy of Naaman ^(A)shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence ^(B)leprous, as white as snow.

² “Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every ^(A)leper, everyone who has a ^(B)discharge, and whoever becomes ^(C)defiled ^[a]by a corpse. ³ You shall put out both male and female; you shall put them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camps ^(D)in the midst of which I dwell.”

¹⁴ Then the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but ^(A)spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be ^(B)shut^[a] out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”
