^11 (A)For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

¹⁴ I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other one; ^(A)for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

⁴ So whoever will humble himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

⁶ But ^(A)He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “^(B)God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

^10 (A)Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

^5 (A)You ^[a]younger men, likewise, ^(B)be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with ^(C)humility toward one another, because ^(D)God is opposed to the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.

⁶ Therefore ^(E)humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time,
