³⁵ Behold, ^(A)your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ^(B)‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

⁹ And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, ^(A)“Hosanna! ^(B)Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! ¹⁰ Blessed is ^(C)the coming ^(D)kingdom of ^(E)our father ^(F)David! ^(G)Hosanna ^(H)in the highest!”

^19 (A)Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but ^(B)you will see me. ^(C)Because I live, you also will live. ^20 (D)In that day you will know that ^(E)I am in my Father, and ^(F)you in me, and ^(G)I in you. ^21 (H)Whoever has my commandments and ^(I)keeps them, he it is who loves me. And ^(J)he who loves me ^(K)will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and ^(L)manifest myself to him.” ^22 (M)Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it ^(N)that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” ²³ Jesus answered him, ^(O)“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and ^(P)we will come to him and ^(Q)make our home with him.

¹³ So they took branches of ^(A)palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, ^(B)“Hosanna! Blessed is ^(C)he who comes in the name of the Lord, even ^(D)the King of Israel!”

⁹ And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, ^(A)“Hosanna to ^(B)the Son of David! ^(C)Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna ^(D)in the highest!”

¹³ and they ^(A)set up false ^(B)witnesses who said, “This man never ceases to speak words against ^(C)this holy place and the law, ¹⁴ for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth ^(D)will destroy this place and will ^(E)change ^(F)the customs that Moses delivered to us.”

³⁵ So Jesus said to them, ^(A)“The light is among you ^(B)for a little while longer. ^(C)Walk while you have the light, lest darkness ^(D)overtake you. ^(E)The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. ³⁶ While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become ^(F)sons of light.”

The Unbelief of the People

When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.

²² So the Jews said, ^(A)“Will he kill himself, since he says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” ²³ He said to them, ^(B)“You are from below; I am from above. ^(C)You are of this world; ^(D)I am not of this world. ²⁴ I told you that you ^(E)would die in your sins, for ^(F)unless you believe that ^(G)I am he you will die in your sins.”
