³³ Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem.

⁵³ But ^(A)they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem.

¹¹ So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, ^(A)the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”

²⁷ For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, ^(A)because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him.

^18 (A)“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death,

^54 (A)Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called ^(B)Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

^4 (A)I^[a] must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is ^(B)day; the night is coming when no one can work.

³⁴ Jesus said to them, ^(A)“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to ^(B)finish His work.

³⁸ how ^(A)God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who ^(B)went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, ^(C)for God was with Him.

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer ^(A)the light is with you. ^(B)Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; ^(C)he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.
