²⁸ “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth,^(A) when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

¹¹ I say to you that many will come from the east and the west,^(A) and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.^{(B) 12} But the subjects of the kingdom^(C) will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”^(D)

³⁰ And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’^(A)

¹³ “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’^(A)

⁸ But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars^(A)—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur.^(B) This is the second death.”^(C)

⁵ All this is evidence^(A) that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy^(B) of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

¹⁵ Outside^(A) are the dogs,^(B) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹¹ and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom^(A) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.^(B)

⁴² Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.^[a]”^(A)

⁴³ Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”^(B)

²³ In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
