Luke 13:15-17

¹⁵ But the Lord answered him and said, “Hypocrites!^(A) Doesn’t each one of you untie his ox^(B) or donkey from the feeding trough^(C) on the Sabbath and lead it to water?^{(D) 16} Satan^(E) has bound^(F) this woman, a daughter of Abraham,^(G) for eighteen years—shouldn’t she be untied from this bondage^[a] on the Sabbath day?”

¹⁷ When he had said these things, all his adversaries^(H) were humiliated,^(I) but the whole crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things he was doing.^(J)
