¹³ Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God!

¹⁸ They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

⁴³ Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus, praising God. And all who saw it praised God, too.

²⁵ Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.

⁵ And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

²³ pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.”

Psalm 103

A psalm of David.

¹⁴ He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.”^[a] And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.

¹⁵ One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” ¹⁶ He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.

¹⁷ Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?
