The Faithful or the Unfaithful Slave

⁴¹ Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for everyone?”

³⁷ And what I say to you I say to all: Keep awake.”

⁷ The end of all things is near;^[a] therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.^(A)

⁸ Discipline yourselves; keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour.^(A)

³⁷ He came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour?
