^37 (A)Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

^42 (A)Watch therefore, for you do not know what ^[a]hour your Lord is coming.

¹³ Then I heard a voice from heaven saying ^[a]to me, “Write: ^(A)‘Blessed are the dead ^(B)who die in the Lord from now on.’ ”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, ^(C)“that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow ^(D)them.”

¹⁴ Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent ^(A)to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

¹¹ for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

^4 (A)rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. ⁵ After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

³ They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song ^(A)except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are the ones who were not defiled with women, ^(B)for they are virgins. These are the ones ^(C)who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These ^(D)were ^[a]redeemed from among men, ^(E)being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

¹⁷ for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne ^(A)will shepherd them and lead them to ^[a]living fountains of waters. ^(B)And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

²¹ To him who overcomes ^(A)I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
