33 (A)No one lights a lamp and puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light. 34 (B)Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is [a]clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is [b]bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 So watch out that the light in you is not darkness. 36 Therefore if your whole body is full of light, without any dark part, it will be wholly illuminated, as when the lamp illuminates you with its light.”

The Lamp of the Body(A)

33 (B)“No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a (C)basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. 34 (D)The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is [a]good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is [b]bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. 36 If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”
