27 While [a]Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “(A)Blessed is the womb that carried You, and the breasts at which You nursed!” 28 But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are (B)those who hear the word of God and follow it.”

29 Now as the crowds were increasing, He began to say, “(C)This generation is a wicked generation; it (D)demands a [b]sign, and so no [c]sign will be given to it except the [d]sign of Jonah.

28 But He said, (B)“More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Seeking a Sign(C)
29 (D)And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, “This is an evil generation. It seeks a (E)sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah [a]the prophet.
