²⁷ As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”^(A)

⁴² In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women,^(A) and blessed is the child you will bear!

²⁹ For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’^(A)

²⁸ The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
