² So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

⁶ But you, when you pray, ^(A)go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you ^[a]openly. ⁷ And when you pray, ^(B)do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. ^(C)For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

⁸ “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father ^(D)knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. ⁹ In this ^(E)manner, therefore, pray:

^14 (N)“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But ^(O)if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Prayer for the Church

¹¹ Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(A)direct our way to you. ¹² And may the Lord make you increase and ^(B)abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, ¹³ so that He may establish ^(C)your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

⁶ and said: “O Lord God of our fathers, are You not ^(A)God in heaven, and ^(B)do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and ^(C)in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years

⁴ And I saw ^(A)thrones, and they sat on them, and ^(B)judgment was committed to them. Then I saw ^(C)the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, ^(D)who had not worshiped the beast ^(E)or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they ^(F)lived and ^(G)reigned with Christ for ^[a]a thousand years.
