⁷ And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for ^(A)the labourer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.

¹⁸ For the Scripture says, ^(A)“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain”, and, ^(B)“The labourer deserves his wages.”

¹⁰ no bag for your journey, nor two tunics^[a] nor sandals nor a staff, for ^(A)the labourer deserves his food.

^13 (A)“You shall not oppress your neighbour or rob him. ^(B)The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

^15 (A)You shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), ^(B)lest he cry against you to the Lord, and you be guilty of sin.
