^22 (A)All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and ^(B)no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

¹⁶ Simon Peter answered, “You are ^(A)the ^[a]Christ, ^(B)the Son of ^(C)the living God.” ¹⁷ And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, ^(D)Simon ^[b]Barjona, because ^(E)flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

¹⁵ But when ^[a]He who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and ^(A)called me through His grace was pleased ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me so that I might ^(B)preach Him among the Gentiles, ^(C)I did not immediately consult with ^[b](D)flesh and blood,

⁶ For God, who said, “^(A)Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has ^(B)shone in our hearts to give the ^(C)Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

¹⁷ For in it ^(A)the righteousness of God is revealed ^[a]from faith to faith; as it is written: “^[b](B)But the righteous one will live by faith.”

¹⁹ because ^(A)that which is known about God is evident ^[a]within them; for God made it evident to them.
