^12 [a]But I say to you that ^(A)it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.

¹⁵ Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!

²⁴ But I say to you ^(A)that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.”

^11 (A)And ^[a]whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, ^(B)shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. ^[b]Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

⁴⁸ “As I live,” says the Lord God, “neither ^(A)your sister Sodom nor her daughters have done as you and your daughters have done. ⁴⁹ Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, ^(B)fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. ⁵⁰ And they were haughty and ^(C)committed abomination before Me; therefore ^(D)I took them away as ^[a]I saw fit.
