Herod Hears of What Jesus Is Doing And Seeks To See Him

And Herod[a] the tetrarch heard-of all the things taking place. And he was greatly-perplexed because of it being said by some that John arose from the dead, and by some that Elijah appeared, and by others that some prophet of the ancients[b] rose-up. And Herod said, “I beheaded John. But who is this One about Whom I am hearing such things?” And he was seeking to see Him.
