^24 (A)For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

^10 (A)Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. ^(B)Be faithful until death, and I will give you ^(C)the crown of life.

²³ except that ^(A)the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. ^24 [a]But ^(B)none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, ^(C)so that I may finish my ^[b]race with joy, ^(D)and the ministry ^(E)which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

^33 (A)Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.

^25 (A)He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
