21-22 But Jesus expressly told them not to say a word to anybody, at the same time warning them of the inevitability of the Son of Man’s great suffering, of his repudiation by the elders, chief priests and scribes, and of his death and of being raised to life again on the third day.

20 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Jesus Predicts His Death
21 Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone.(B) 22 And he said, “The Son of Man(C) must suffer many things(D) and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law,(E) and he must be killed(F) and on the third day(G) be raised to life.”(H)
